Frequently asked questions
New to commercial EV charging? Want to understand how ChargeFellow operates?
How will the property owner profit from EV Chargers?
EV charging will attract desirable tenants. ChargeFellow does not provide revenue to property owners. While other charger providers may provide revenue to the property owner the revenue is very small compared to rent, and those companies leave the management and maintenance of the chargers to the owner.
What happens when the chargers need service?
ChargeFellow monitoring will inform us of the need for service and we will send a technician to repair the chargers as needed. Users of the chargers can also contact ChargeFellow directly to report an issue, with no need for the property manager to be involved.
What vehicles are supported?
ChargeFellow chargers have both a NACS (Tesla) and J1779 (ISO) plugs. This means that all EVs can charge without an adapter.
Who pays for the electricity?
ChargeFellow will install a dedicated electric meter which will be billed to ChargeFellow. There will be no additional electricity usage on the building common meter.
